It's a digital vehicle wallet for Canadian drivers. Keep your ownership documents, insurance, and service history in one place, get reminders for renewals, receive safety-recall alerts, and transfer your vehicle's record securely when you sell privately.

Tap "Add a vehicle" and either scan your VIN or enter your plate. The App fills in the vehicle's details automatically and checks it against Transport Canada's recall database.

No. If you use the optional licence scan to fill in your profile, your licence number is never saved to our records. You can always enter your details manually instead.

The vehicle's record and service history move to the buyer's account. Your personal documents, such as insurance slips, are deleted at transfer and do not carry over. Remember that an in-app transfer is a record-keeping step — you still need to complete the official ownership change through your province.

The App can remind you before your plate sticker, insurance, licence, or scheduled service comes due. You'll receive notifications ahead of time, and again on the day, as long as notifications are enabled for the App in your device settings.

Open the menu, go to Settings, and choose "Delete account." This permanently removes your profile, vehicles, uploaded documents, and reminders. Records of completed vehicle transfers are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

The C.A.R. App is available for iPhone, with Android support on the way.
